This holiday season consider the origins of the myths that comprise our holiday traditions. Myths are not ‘untruths’, they are archetypal stories (metaphors) that occur throughout cultures worldwide. It’s these metaphors that help us to understand our spiritual place in the world. In the Metaphysics of Christmas, Charles discusses the Christmas Story and finds the metaphysical themes that run throughout it. Don’t let the holiday season make you feel left out rather find the story that speaks to your metaphysical awareness.
The Metaphysics of Christmas was originally presented December 19, 2015 at The Althea Center for Engaged Spirituality in Denver, Colorado. Thank you to Kendara Laurel for the invitation to speak in this beautiful and historic facility. For more information on The Althea Center visit www.altheacenter.org

While it retains some of the spooky qualities traditionally associated with the day. The real scare of Halloween fades through commercialization. And its history and origins become lost and irrelevant. Leaving Halloween cut off from any of its original meaning.
